Make a burger that will make you famous.

RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 LB of Ground Beef, preferrably a top grade mix.

  • 1 Egg yolk

  • Brioche Bun

  • 2 slices Lettuce

  • 2 strips Applewood Smoked Bacon

  • 1 Sliced Onion

  • 1 tbs Sriracha + 1 tbs Mayo+ 1 tbs Spicy Brown Mustard (for the spread)

  • 1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 tbs BBQ Sauce

  • 1 tbs BBQ Smoke seasoning

  • Lowrys or Johnnys Seasoned Salt

  • Slice of Cheddar Cheese

  • Sliced Tomato

  • 1 pad of butter

The Prep.

  1. Mix beef, egg yolk, Worcestershire, BBQ all together in bowl. Don’t over mix, should take less than 30 seconds of mixing.

  2. Add Seasoned Salt generously over whole bowl

  3. Make tennis ball sized patty that is more flat than round, at least larger than the bottom of a soda can.

  4. Gently roll the edges lightly in salt.

  5. Mix Siracha, Mayo, Mustard, and pinch of Johnny's in bowl and set aside for build.

The Cook.

  1. Turn on gas grill. Heat up skillet on stove. When hot, cook 2 slices of bacon.

  2. When finished, place bacon on plate and pour out/remove half of the remaining bacon grease.

  3. Add a pad of butter and mix.

  4. Place the burger in skillet and cook for 1 minute on each side.

  5. Use a spoon to collect the juices and pour back over the top of the burger.

  6. Take burger off skillet and place on smoking hot grill (500 degrees) and cook for 4 minutes.

  7. Place sliced onion in skillet.

  8. After 4 minutes, flip burger. Place bacon and cheese on top, close grill and cook for another 4 minutes. Let cheese melt over top bacon and onto burger.

  9. Flip onions in skillet and finish browning, then remove to drain on paper towel.

  10. Put brioche bun, soft side down into skillet and toast for 1 minute till browned and slightly charred. Be careful, it will burn easy, don’t walk away.

  11. Remove burger from grill.

The Build.

  • Build Burger in this order from the bottom up... Bun, Lettuce, Siracha Spread, Tomato, Dash of Salt, Burger, Bacon, Cheese, Grilled Onions, Dash of Salt, Lettuce, Bun.

  • Let rest for 1 minute.

  • Call 9-1-1 so they arrive just as you're having the heart attack.
